Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL)
The Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL)-University of Mumbai has released an official notification inviting all the interested, eligible candidates to apply for Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Commerce (MCom) programmes for the commencing academic session 2016.
All the eligible candidates are requested to apply latest by September 17.
- B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. (Information Technology), B.Sc. (Computer Science)
- B.Sc. (Nautical Technology) S.Y. & T.Y.
- M.A. (History, Sociology, Economics, Politics, Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, English), M.A. (Education), M. Com. (Accounts /Management)
- M.C.A. (Master of Computer Application) Second & Third Year
- MA/M.Sc. (Mathematics, I. T., Comp. Sci.)
- PGDFM (PG Diploma in Financial Mgmt.)
- PGDORM (PG Diploma in Operations Research for Mgmt.)
- (One year Diploma Programmes from the Academic Year 2016-17)
- PGDFM & PGDORM Part – II (Old Pattern)
MSc. programme: All the candidates interested in applying for this course, need to possess a degree in Bachelor of Science (BSc)/ Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with minimum 45 per cent per cent.

- Online payment option through Debit/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking.
- Bank Challan of Bank of Maharashtra only.
It is made clear that if any false attestation / falsified record are detected, the student will be debarred from the University / institute and in addition a criminal case under relevant section of IPC (viz, 471, 474 IPC etc) will be instituted against him/her.

Helpline, SMS Service : Students of IDOL can ask their queries through SMS - Just type IDOL space, then type your queries and send it to 8082892988 and we will provide them relevant information through SMS.
Government Scholarship is available for some programmes for the reserve categories (SC/ST/OBC/VJ-NT/SBC) students, details are available on our website.
IDOL has its learning centers in Thane at Balkum, Runwal Garden, Thane-Bhiwandi Road, Balkum Octroi Naka, Thane – 400 608 & also in Ratnagiri at Plot No. P-61, MIDC, Mirjole, Ratnagiri.
Students counseling / guidance is available at this centers between 10:20 am to 6:00 pm on working days.
